DOUGLAS MELBOURNE LOCKEN January 10, 1938 - October 27, 2010 Peacefully, at the Grace Hospital on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, Doug passed away in his sleep after a brief illness, at the age of 72 years. Doug is survived by one sister, Joan Kirk, of Campbell River, BC; brother Roger (Pat) of Winnipeg; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters and four brothers. Doug was born in Hyas, SK to Annie and Gilbert Locken, and moved to Winnipeg as an infant. He worked for MB Hydro and Green Valley Concessions. In accordance with Doug's wishes, there will be no Funeral Service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sharon Naurocki and Bill M. If friends so desire, donations in Doug's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3 or The Movement Centre of MB Inc., 1646 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg, MB R2G 1N7.
